The very first Interclean show took place in the year 1967. This first edition took place in Amsterdam and consisted of about 2000 square meters and 57 exhibitors. Eight of the exhibitors that attended the show that year are still active in the professional cleaning industry: Alpheios, Ewepo, Flash, Hago, Hijman, Metternich/Spectro, Nilfisk and Vendor.
